If you're partial to black and white "tuxedo" cats, an animal shelter in Novato, Calif., would like to talk. It seems someone has dropped off more than 100 of the cats over the last 18 months. The last dropoff occurred Monday, when a car pulled up to the Marin Humane Society and left behind three boxes with 24 cats. It was the fourth such occurrence in the last 18 months. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that all the cats, which range in age from kitten to full-grown, appeared to be in good health, with no fleas or diseases. The unidentified person leaving the cats has been caught on surveillance tapeand the shelter wants to get in touch to explain how spaying and neutering works.

These guys seem to have our number, definitely my wife's. She cannot turn them down. She also rescues baby geckos constantly. Keeps them in small terrariums for a few days until they get strong and fast enough to stay away from the adults that will cannibalize them.
Of course, we also have an adult gecko that stays with us indoors. One of the cats had caught and bit him, destroying one of his eyes. Poor guy cannot see well enough to hunt now, so he is somewhat tame and lives a life of luxury indoors eating papaya.
My kitties were bringing home voles one year. I don’t mind rodents. I’m not especially fearful of them for a woman, but voles aren’t the most attractive of creatures...especially a deceased one under your fridge for over a week. Looks like a cross between a rat and a mouse with a stubby tail and buck teeth.
What a sweetie!
I’m in love, LOL.
lol...He’s so sweet. A couple of years back I was looking for my other orange tabby that went missing for over a week when it was super cold here. Saw him on the Dumb Friends League Shelter website. He had a smile on his face for his profile pic. Had to have him. He even had a hold on him, but the lady didn’t come back to adopt him. He was all over me when we first met at the shelter. Sitting on my chest and purring.
Brilliant!
TC’s are significantly more intelligent.
I guess we can’t for all purposes call Obama a TC.
He found his person and he wasn’t about to let you go.
Cute animals, those tuxies Ours just strolled into our lives off the street about five years ago & set up camp; quite the proper character. Our daughter recently took him to her new home, but we recently got him back to watch while she was on a week’s vacation he picked up on his old habits right away ;-)
Id love to adopt one. Or five. No where near the west coast however.

I’m not either. Been wondering how to get one to NJ.
It would probably be very traumatic to kitty to get here. I know it’s traumatic for a cat to go three miles to the vet in a car- can you imagine 3000 miles in a plane?
I’m in love with your kitteh.
Ya’ never heard of Paris, Texas?
Thank you - he’s the kissingest kitty I’ve ever met.
Thank you! He’s so handsome. And has a friendly personality. My oldest named him Ham. We call him Hamilton for a nickname...lol. Kind of the reverse of how it should be. Oldest also calls him Hamiltoes...lol.
It’s been nine months since my kitty died.
I’m ready for a new one, and now I’m asking Ceiling Cat to bring one into my life.,
It’s miserable without a kitty. It’s like part of me is dead, I hope I have a best friend by Christmas, it would be wonderful
Oh I’m so sorry about your kitty. It’s so hard when they die. I just have two now. One 3 pound dog. And two gerbils. I love animals, but I don’t want anymore after these guys go. My kitties are both fairly young still so I hope that’s not anytime soon. The gerbils have a short shelf life. And not sure how old my chihuahua is. I’ll hope you’ll post and ping me when you get a new kitty. Are you looking?
