Some years ago, when I moved overseas, someone very kindly showed me how to change a setting for the forum that allowed me to display the article post times in the overseas timezone. Now I'm back in the US, but have lost the set of instructions for changing it back. Can someone help?
I thought JohnRob had it set to ‘read’ the current time zone on your computer.
If your computer is set for ‘central’, then FR times are central, etc.
I believe your timezone is set when you choose your locale. home -> account -> my locale -> set my location.
Try clearing cookies and log back in.
I have the instructions printed out. Just send $10 and a self addressed stamped envelope. But wait! Just for trying us out, we’ll send you a second set of instructions at NO EXTRA CHARGE! (Just pay shipping and handling.)
We like posts form the future. Tomorrow will be cool.
Cookies cleared, timezone on the computer is correct, locale on FR is correct, but it still shows the overseas timezone. When I changed it, one of the admins helped me with something that made the timechange work (linux machine, so it didn’t always show the post times where I was correctly).
