HOUSTON A Houston mother is charged with putting her 6-year-old daughter in danger so that she could have sex with her boyfriend.
Jolisa Renee Peterson, 22, appeared in court Friday on a charge of endangering a child.
Police were called after someone spotted the little girl trying to cross the busy intersection of the Sam Houston Parkway at Vickery Drive.
The child told the officer she had walked to a nearby gas station twice that day in May to get a soda, according to court documents. She said she didn't go to school because her mom was "asleep with a boy." She said her mother told her to go outside to play, police said.

Someone should really start a site chronicling the crazy names of people getting arrested.

It's a foundational belief of much of our society that sex is absolutely mandatory for life. It is your RIGHT to have sex. Often. With anyone. You simply CANNOT resist the urge. No one can. If you feel like going for it, then you just GO for it. Everything else must come second. No law, no sense of morality, no family tie, no sense of shame can get in the way of your sex drive. It's really the only thing that matters.
And you know what? I think this sort of over-valuation of sex is probably hurting us.

As far as I am concerned she should get the maximum penalty Texas has to offer.
She has nothing to contribute to our society!

Houston always has had an abundance of trash, but during Hurricane Katrina, a lot more of it swept into Houston and never left. It wasn’t an improvement.
