For teenagers, the art is supposed to explain who's really responsible for the murder rate among black males.
"It doesn't really make sense, because what I thought it was, was whites killing blacks," Holder said.
"To see that now we are doing more than they are, it's kind of a wake-up call," said student Kayla Hawthorne. Sometimes you have to read to them from the book. Other times you just have to show them the pictures.

Wow. If those Indianapolis ‘hood kids thought whites were anywhere near the predominant murderers of blacks, what to make of that? Who planted that in their heads, and how? That dumb kid must have been locked up in his basement since birth.
