Man Buys 23 Burger King Apple Pies to Spite a Small Child
Apparently, after waiting in line in front of a careless mother and her screaming small child, a man who was having a bad day (and had a headache) decided to ruin that family's day: The child was screaming...
Obviously the story makes you feel good. Not sure how you think the episode makes the kid a better citizen.
“I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part!”
Otter - Animal House
In movie ratings such childish use of four letter words is called “Adult Language”.
How about: if you don't teach the little monsters manners and civility when they are young and impressionable, they grow up to play other games such as "the knockout game", "carjacking", and "gangsta life". Even casual rape, since there is no expectation of punishment for the little darlings.
But I suppose you find that preferable.
By you I guess you are referring to that straw man over there.
Hear, hear. Also to make certain the mother's face was prominent in any vids as a lovely example of how the standards of child-rearing have fallen to sewer-level failings these days.
I think he’s very clever. The dick is someone who doesn’t like anyone taking action.
Not until the child you are raising has behavior that negatively impacts those around them. Then it’s anyone’s business that is bothered by that behavior.
Honey, let me assure you, in this case, wild wolves could do a better job than this parent.
Sweaty, it’s none of your business.
And I am guessing you are being deliberately provocative and obtuse.
If you do not enforce positive behavior and proper manners when they are young and semi-controllable, then you perpetuate barbaric and uncivilized behaviour when they become adults.
However if you prefer such antics, I believe there are quite a few available homes in Detroit where you can be subjected to the fruits of such antics from more older kids, usually traveling in packs, 24/7.
Enjoy.
No, I think he was making a point to the mother as well as punishing the child in the only way he could. Yes, I got a little thrill out of a clever way to avenge this man’s and everyone else’s disturbed peace, whether or not the mother and son learned anything at all.
I’m just trying to understand what you want. You don’t approve of how this kid is being raised.
What do you want? Be specific.
Sweaty? That’s the best you can say, or type?
And I was of the opinion that FReepers could comment on any post they wish. Now you’re the arbiter of that? ha. I don’t think so.
Cutie pie. Is that better?
LOL, yes, much better!
Comment all you want. What is not your business is how someone else raises their kids.
Yes. He lost all credibility with that comment.
I believe I am correct now when I sized him up as being deliberately obtuse, and now quite rude as well.
Don’t think he is here for conversation. More for provocation.
I have stood in line and watched as a mother, (so-called), had no control of her 4 year old. The kid was standing in the cart trying to operate the card swipe machine. Her mother had no control.
I asked the older cashier if she had ever had one of her children behave like that. She told me no in no uncertain terms and went on to describe what she would have done had one of hers acted in such a way.
It became an issue with me because I was held up in line and just don’t like seeing a 4 year old run rough shod over its mother. I don’t like to witness it. It happened tonight, by the way.
