[history]
A man claimed he purchased every pie at a Burger King, 23 in total, to spite an absentee mother and child who kept screaming he wanted one of the pies.
The man posted his confession on Reddit and the story has gone viral online.

Dude. We're talking about 20-30 bucks here, not 20-30 million. And you are in no position to dictate to him how he chooses to spend his money.

Well worth $20 to let the woman experience the consequences of her behavior.

If he were really having a migraine headache, not only would he
not have been able to eat the pie without barfing it back up, he sure as hell wouldn't have gone back to work. Probably shouldn't have been driving, either. I suspect the "migraine" was simply a bad headache, and he, like so many others these days, is simply exaggerating.
Still, I like the guy's solution, and I hope the spoiled brat continued being a brat for his worthless mother for the rest of the afternoon.

I have to deal with these types every day. They really don’t give a flip about anyone around them, and in the end, their kids will suffer for it.

Meanwhile. he miscalculated his precious resources in a misguided attempt at spite. The road to serfdom lies ahead. From the article:
The man said he ate some of the pies and gave the rest to his coworkers.
Analyze the transaction properly. He wasn't buying pies. He was buying amusement for himself, his coworkers, and the internet.

He didn’t say he required a quiet meal, he complained, and took appropriate action, against an assault on his senses. There’s a difference.

No one said he wanted or required any of that. There’s a difference between wanting decent behavior and requiring silence.
