A transgender YouTube star has posted a video urging for people to accept everyone for who they are.
The 13-year-old Jazz, who was thrust into the media spotlight when she appeared on TV programme 20/20 aged just 6, says: A lot of transgender people are treated unfairly. Its upsetting to know there are still prejudiced people who dont accept others.
She talks about the prejudice she has experienced, saying: When some people say we dont appreciate Gods creation, or argue that the Bible doesnt say LGBTQ people are ethical, I get confused.
It befuddles me how we have to undermine others and look forward to their failures.
Its annoying when people argue about being different. To place it into right and wrong is beyond what it is in being different, there is no right or wrong, its just who you are. Being transgender has made me who I am: a stronger person, a more confident person, and a person with pride. Progress is being made, and the world is transitioning into a new time. I can see the change.
Jazz, who keeps her surname and where in the US she lives a secret for her safety reasons, also posted a video of her answering questions from the public.
Her high profile in the media came about after many TV appearances, including a documentary about her on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Jazz has also founded the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, and has co-written a book, I Am Jazz.
Its name should be “Jack” ...
Short for “Jacked Up”.
Just wondering . . . if you can elect to become a different sex than you are genetically designed, can you elect to become a different species than your genetics describe?
That is exactly it. I accept all weirdos as weirdos, and treat them with compassion and pity. Compassion and pity do not constitute rejection.
But I will not promote their weirdness. The world has enough problems as it is.
Parents should be charged with child abuse.
no-endorsement does not constitute rejection
Vile. The parents of this child have molested the mind.
Yes. So horribly sad. Just sad.
Here is your American Citizen of the future.
Here is your future Congressional Rep.
Here is the result of a Century of Relentless Progressivism.
Here is the offspring of an America grown so self satisfied and successful, that we allowed our prosperity to be used against us.
America is learning that achieving greatness is much easier then sustaining greatness.
Hey DUDE, yes dude, you ain’t a girl.
DNA don’t lie, you’re still a guy.
In other words this is nurture not nature.
Well, “Jazz,” you are a 13-year-old. Being befuddled is a fairly natural state at that age. Do you think it’s wise to be making permanent, life-changing decisions at a time when your sexuality is just barely awakened? Maybe it would be better for all of us — including other CHILDREN your age who are equally befuddled — if you sat down and shut up instead of milking this perverted society for 15 minutes of fame and a guest slot on “Oprah.”
So her parents named it “Jazz.”
I think I see what the trouble is.
There is no such thing as a ‘transgender’. People can mutilate their bodies but it doesn’t change their gender.
“Celebrate”?. More like transform them into deviants at a young age anymore. Candy is old school. Now they use social media and school systems.
It must not be discriminated against much if it is a t.v STAR.
I once knew a black man named Wanda. His mother wanted a little girl so bad she gave him that name and wouldn’t change it when he was born. He was ridiculed at no end when he was in school then doppec out, turned into a drug addict and was reportedly gay though I never saw the evidence firsthand. I you wonder why he was so screwed up.../s
Guess it didn't work out like it did for "Sue."
