Time to boycott Turner Classic Movies all day Friday: they are featuring nothing but Jane Fonda movies all day and including a "Lifetime Achievement Award" segment for her as well. I realize that Jane is Ted Turner's Ex but she is also a traitor to her country who went to our enemy's capitol to broadcast treason on their radio, betrayed her country's fighting men, and returned home to push pro-enemy propaganda. We have never dealt with her as we should have and punished her for her betrayal. Can anyone imagine what would have happened to anyone who had traveled to Nazi Germany during the war, made treasonous broadcasts on Radio Berlin, and then encouraged revolt against our government when he or she returned? Contact TCM and let them know how we feel about this tribute to a traitor.
Just try getting men to boycott Barbarella.
In 2006, the Georgia Senate killed a bid to honor Jane Fonda, an Atlanta resident. A resolution was presented to honor her “post Vietnam” work and was killed 39-1 after a member of the Senate who was a retired Army Officer alertly ensured everyone knew it was on the agenda.
There is racier stuff on the Disney Channel.
Ran across it the other day while scouring Netflix for something to watch. Didn't watch it, but found it humorous that the only Hanoi Jane film available for streaming is that one.
Men tend to drool over her appearance in that one. Was very racy in its time - and silly as hell.
I’d still watch ‘Cat Ballou’.
Oh, dry up and get a sense of humor.
trust me, most of us laughed (and agreed!)
Are they showing “On Golden Pond Scum”?

Not a problem. I have not watched a single Traitor Hanoi Jane movie or TV show since I returned from Viet Nam more than 40 years ago.
Thanks for the reminder. I saw it but forgot. They also make it hard to watch weekend movies with uber lib Ben Mankiewicz as host. I usually record them and zap past him.
they wanted to honor her post Vietnam work?
She was an activist for liberal causes after Vietnam. Even if you ignore Vietnam, she was still a radical liberal activist, not worthy of any honor.
I think she once said it was a mistake to be photographed at the North Vietnamese military installation. But she has never expressed regret for going to Vietnam that I am aware of.
Her movie career hasn’t held up all that well over the years. I always thought she was completely overrated with the exception of her very good performance in Klute. It was all downhill from there.
Weirdly, all of her 1970 roles were offered to Barbra Streisand first (I kid you not!) and the always polite Miss Streisand once turned to Hanoi Jane and said: You owe your entire career to me! History doesn’t say what the equally rude Miss Fonda replied.
Hanoi Jane is a commie traitor bitch!
That's just such a thigh-slapper!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahaha!
She's so funny there playin' BFFs with the NVA!
ROFL!!!!
Wow!!! So hilarious there at the communist rally!!! Slandering America and the US military!!!
I'll bust a gut laughing!
Or maybe not.
She is a traitor who probably should have been trie dfor treason. As a bonus, she’s not a very good actress.
Just because she was a nasty traitor doesn’t mean she wasn’t bodacious in the day, right? If she hadn’t gotten involved with Yves Montand and Simone Signoret (who also destroyed the life of the wonderful Jean Seberg) she might never have fallen into evil. But the Parisian villians were more like the characters in Les Liaisons Dangerouses than ordinary film stars. Then after they wrecked Seberg’s life and made Fonda an anathema, they turned into conservatives!
