SUMTER, SC — A 20-year-old waitress is charged with murder after admitting she stabbed her live-in boyfriend in Sumter.
Deputies responded Saturday to Lot 3, 1920 Peach Orchard Road after a call and found 21-year-old Mallory Jerell Richardson stabbed to death on the mobile home’s living room floor.
Helen Louise Wells admitted to officers that she stabbed her live-in boyfriend with a knife after an argument, according to Lt. Robert B. Burnish of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Wells, who works as a waitress at the Huddle House restaurant near Shaw Air Force Base, threw up as deputies examined the body, screamed, then confessed, according to an incident report.
Wells told deputies that she and Richardson had been arguing about a female friend of hers. She said they had been in physical fights before and that she was afraid.
Deputies retrieved a knife allegedly used to stab Richardson from the home’s front yard after Wells told them where she threw it, the report said.
Richardson’s body was blocking the door when deputies arrived and had a deep puncture wound to the upper chest, near his heart, the report said. Wells met deputies in the front yard.
EMS workers were unable to revive him.
Peach Orchard Road is S.C. 441, which runs along the west side of Shaw Air Force Base.
Wells was arrested, charged with murder and taken to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center. No bond has not been set.

She wanted to make sure he was dead before calling the authorities. ........................................ I guess who ever answered the 911 call asked if they needed an ambulance. Before they send one, they asked her to make sure he’s was dead first. She went back stabbed him again, and answered, yup he is. ?????

Or, he was forcing his way in after a argument which continued and she defended herself, but I don't pretend to be a detective, good or bad.
If there is white on 3 sides of the pupils it typically looks like the person has "crazy eyes". There is a photo of Manson that is a good example of it.
Look like sad eyes to me.
Looking for references on Google to Mr. Richardson brought only one responsive link other than stories about his demise. Most stories were about girls named Malory who excelled in academics or sports.
Never heard of Malory as a boys name. Also Malory was 21 on August 9, 2013 and July 26, 2014. Bday must be somewhere inbetween.

Jerell Mallory Richardson, 21, of 2725 Gallishaw Road in Dalzell, pleaded guilty to criminal domestic violence, first offense, on Monday after being charged in February with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. His victim, who lives at an apartment complex on Miller Road, told police that the two had lived together for five months and that Richardson kept her “as a prisoner in the apartment,” according to 3rd Circuit Assistant Solicitor Bronwyn K. McElveen. Richardson also had a video camera in the apartment to record the woman’s movements in and out of the home. Brown gave him 30 days in jail or a $200 fine, giving him 30 days to pay.

It appears Helen Louise Wells decided to take matters into her own hands.
I did find some references to a Jerell Richards who lives in the area, but I think he is two years younger. He was involved in a drug dealer robbery that went bad. One of his fellow perps was killed. His mother then said prosecutor all wrong in describing her boys as bad boys and they couldn’t possibly have done this. Notwithstanding the fact that the dead 14 year old had a riffle and the other two had hand guns. Yet they were taken out by a single victim with a handgun.
It’s a chain restaurant in the Carolinas (and perhaps elsewhere).
The way her eyebrows are plucked is the latest style.
