I know this is a movie about bad behavior but it seems to redeem bad actors.
I heehawed my but off.
What do you all think of the film?
We have a bleeder.
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles ;)
I thought it was funny LOL
Kenny was a perfect foil!
All time top ten movie dork!
Franks and Beans! Franks and Beans!
I know it was a dumb movie and celebrated bad behavior, but I truly thought it was funny.
It was definitely funny and didn’t follow the same Hollywood script models. I enjoy watching it over again. I also thought that “The Heat” and “Identity Thief” were hilarious too!
Double kudos to a Warren Zevon van! Yowza, Yowza, Yowza!
Memo to self:
Kerry was in Vietnam.
mylife LMAO’d at “We’re the Millers.”
I think I can remember that, but could you repeat it in another oh, 50 or 100 responses in case I forget?
Oh yes! Kingpin is definitely up there. Fantastic movie all over. One of the keepers like the aforementioned classics.
If it helps ;)
Ah, another good call. And that Chevy Chase movie where he plays a writer that moved to the northeast hick town was pretty hilarious too.
Well I am glad there are a few people here that can laugh!
Speaking of dumb movies, I probably would put BASEketball in my Top Ten. Yeah, it was kind of stupid, but I did laugh my you-know-what-off just the same.
I thought Matt and Trey were actually pretty funny in front of a camera.
Armed with one or two facial expressions, pissed and not so pissed.
She really reminds me of my ex-sister in law. Always pissed.
Meh... Hard to pick just one, but I’ll second the following:
Airplane
Blazing Saddles
Caddy Shack
Big Trouble in Little China
Young Frankenstein
It’s a madx4 world
Blues brothers
Animal house (though wearing on me lately)
and Add:
Any Charlie Chaplin full length
Princess Bride
Monty Python’s Holy Grail
Sean of the Dead
Army of Darkness
Raising Arizona (just one line is enough: lone biker of the apocalypse)
Harvey
This is Spinal Tap
Planes, Trains, & automobiles
The Thin Man (any of the 4, older, different humor)
Philadelphia Story (1940)
Duck Soup
Arsenic and Old Lace
Paper Moon
Bad News Bears (original only)
Ghostbusters I
Odd Couple (1st)
Aladdin (Yes the Disney cartoon, me and a bunch of other junior officers laughed our ass off first time we saw this)
For a stretch or something different:
Any Abbot & Costello, Laurel & Hardy, Ma & Pa Kettle, Hope& Crosby Road shows, or Marx Brothers (other than duck soup)
Ground Hog Day
Shrek I
Tommy Boy
O Brother Where art Thou (if only for the song)
Big Lebowski
Dumb & dumber
Spaceballs
Beetlejuice
Stripes
MASH
Dodge Ball
Blades of Glory
Trading Places
History of the World Part I
Sorry I got to reminiscing and got carried away -— those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. The last list wears on me a bit if I see them too much. With the exception of “BT in LC” and the older B&W movies the 1st and 3rd groups tend to be a bit more for a selective crowd due to language and inuendo. There’s a few in the second list like that but not nearly as bad.
Oh I forgot Kingpin
"...get an ugly girl to be your wife."
Love Arsenic and Old Lace.
Cary Grant was comedic genius.
Raising Arizona was a great underrated film.
You gotta admit she is funny.
