What did Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards call it? Two Americas.
From other exhaustive exposes I’ve read, two things stand out. He actually had to speak with lawyers about it before actually doing anything, and that even before she could be autopsied, her body was shipped out of state so that it could not be done. I’m guessing her family was bought off big time with a very large cash bribe, myself.
I hope he is still roasting in hell.
Today is the anniversary of Mary Jo’s murder.
As Ted Kennedy once said to Wilbur Mills....”Hey Wilbur! How the hell did you get her out of the water?”
I’m pretty certain Teddy doesn’t have to worry about the possibility of anyone drowning where he is.
Liberalism is all about a certain group of people wielding power and control over the masses. The liberal elite are degenerate scumbags who think they are better and smarter then everybody else. They think they are above the laws that apply to the common people. Every American should be aware of this after the last five years of lying and lawlessness.
And today God is saying to Mary Jo,
“They still remember you, Mary Jo, your memory lives and you will never be forgotten.”
One would hope so. At that time in our history, the politician’s downfall of a ‘baby’ in the oven and the scurrying off of her body out-of-state where an autopsy would have revealed such would have been devastating - criminal, in fact.
Given today’s Planned Parenthood genocide against unborn souls, the media’s hiding of the Silk Pony’s baby-daddy drama, Clinton’s Blue Dress, and Obama’s complicity in dead children floating in the Rio Grande, I think not so much at all.
Me? I halfway expect a couple of Angels showing up outside DC and asking today’s Lot to show them 10 righteous men - and finding not one at all.
“Me? I halfway expect a couple of Angels showing up outside DC and asking todays Lot to show them 10 righteous men - and finding not one at all.”
Years ago, a friend of my sisters who was a beautiful young staffer for a Congressman was visiting my home. She was a knockout, single, dressed to the nines and looking. So during conversation about DC, marriage and men, she said I will never find a man to marry in DC because there are only three types...
1). Married either happily or unhappily (the unhappy ones are available during working hours only)
2). Gay or perverted
3). Too old
Ted actually creates his own eternal flame.Alcohol and lard, burns like napalm.
Yep,she died for her country.
I am about two thirds through my second reading of “Senatorial Privilege”
Here is an excerpt from “Senatorial Privilege” by Leo Damore:
****************************************
The senator was silent about his intentions, but it appeared he did not want to report accident at this time. Kennedy was having alternative ideas about the situation: Why couldn’t Mary Jo have been driving the car? Why couldn’t she have let them off and driven to the ferry herself and made a wrong turn?
Kennedy asked to be brought back to the cottage to establish the story. After a while he could leave. Kennedy suggested that when he was back at the shire town in, Gargan could “discover” the accident and report police that Mary Jo had been alone in the car. How this is going to work out in so far as “details” were concerned, the senator didn’t say.
Gargan rejected the idea out of hand. Mary Jo was the only other person who could possibly have been driving accident car, but neither the Senator nor Paul Markham knew her very well, Gargan said, later. “Nobody had any idea if she could drive a car, or even owned a license.” And besides, Gargan reminded Kennedy, “YOU told me you were driving.” Gargan doubted he could persuade girls at the party to allow Mary Jo to take the blame for the accident, or that he could concoct a story or persuade them of the veracity of the senator’s alternative version of the accident. The rescue effort that he and Paul Markham had performed had entirely changed the situation, making a revision of the action question, Gargan explained. “We weren’t being quiet. They were shouting back and forth. The bridge is very public place. There was no way of knowing how many people in areas saw or heard us, how many witnesses won’t come forward to say “oh, I saw Ted Kennedy the bridge to other guys, and the lights of the car ” It was clear the senator could be placed at the scene of the accident.
Making a false report to the police required a web of lies involving disparate group of people. In addition, Gargan would be risking his integrity and reputation as a lawyer. Should he be found out, he said I could lose ‘my ticket’-his license to practice law.
To drive home the importance of reporting the accident, Gargan invoked the name of Burke Marshall. “Because Bobby had said in my presence he was most capable or a new. I was advising the senator of this because he had a very serious problem and it was important to get who, in Bob’s opinion, was the best lawyer. “That’s what I thought Ted needed at the time.”
Of no less significance, Gargan was calling upon the memory of Robert Kennedy as a reminder of the responsibility the senator or as exemplar of those ideals. Gargan said, “When we were both boys, Bob spent so much time with Teddy, working on his sailing; more than that, to tell him: “Be disciplined. Be courageous. Meet every challenge with ability you have. We prepared for whatever opportunities that come your way.”
What Burke Marshall would advise, Gargan was certain, was for the senator to do exactly what he was insisting be done. “There was constant pressure on my part, saying it over and over. That he had to report the accident once.
The discussion was a stalemate when Gargan pulled up to the ferry landing looking across to the Edgartown lighthouse. Boats bobbed in the harbor’s waters, but nothing stirred. The channel was smooth as glass. The ferry was more on the opposite shore, the doc looked deserted.
Gargan had used public telephone that the landings ferry house that we can, there was no thought to using it now. He said, “I was expecting to go to the police station with the center to report the accident-once we got the story together.” The discussion about what had to be done continued in the car. Gargan sequence was to call David Burke and Burke Marshall, then report the accident to the police. “This conversation went around and around: “you’ve got to call those two people. You’ve got to report us immediately!”
The senator appeared unmoved by Gargan’s arguments, his silence and eloquent argument against reporting the accident. The famous Kennedy temper was stirring. Gargan had a short fuse himself. There was an edginess now to his reiteration. “I was in complete charge of the situation. I was pushing that sort of thing, saying over and over: Betty had to report the accident.”
The senator’s toleration of Gargan’s nagging was wearing thin. Finally, he had enough. He said, sharply, “all right, all right, Joey! I’m tired of listening to you. I’ll take care of it you go back. Don’t upset the girls. Don’t get them involved.”
Kennedy bolted from the car took three steps and open to the water.
