DENISON, TX -- A former Denison ISD teacher was arrested after police say she admitted to having an improper relationship with one of her students.
Some of those encounters reportedly happened in the classroom.
"I've heard stories, like I've seen across the nation of it happening in other places, but I never expected it to happen here," said parent, Amy Timberlake.
Parents we spoke to say they can't believe 34-year-old Julie Bollinger, a former Denison High School teacher, was arrested for having an improper relationship with a student.
"It is a crime for a teacher to have a relationship with the teacher no matter what the age limit is," said Grayson County District Attorney, Joe Brown. "So the particular charge we are looking at in this case is an improper relationship between a student and a teacher."

Student is a girl: Guilty!
From what I can see, NOT GUILTY! I bet she looks pretty good away from a lineup.

Tough to judge a woman’s appearance by a police booking photo. She’s probably seen better days. But to put a little different spin on this, the Kinsey types say that the male reaches his peak sex drive at age 18 and a woman reaches hers at 35. So, is it not tempting nature to put a 34-year-old woman in a classroom with a bunch of sexed-up juniors and seniors without having some women (particularly if childless and feeling the tug of their reproduction clocks ticking) give into the temptation, particularly as they begin to feel less attractive and desirable?
Yes, sense should be telling her not to go there but tossing a woman of that age into a high school classroom is a little like tossing gays into an all-male prison.

Government schools are run by feminazi’s and have been for some time. Parents never seem to understand what this really means for their children, particularly the boys.
funny how when a guy does it it’s sexual assault, but when a girl does it it is merely ‘inappropriate’.
Yea but notice that is a man who did the abuse. No comments of “guilty or not guilty”.
I mean really they are innocent until a guilty verdict comes down from the jury but still this is sickening from the *cough cough* men here.
Let’s be honest, if a 20+ year old woman, regardless of looks or doughnut store visits, offers sex to MOST teen boys, they are going to say, “Hell YES!”
Most teen boys would stick it in a light socket, if they thought they could get a thrill without the death!
But, in any case, a teacher should NEVER get into such a situation and should ALWAYS be prosecuted for engaging in such actions!
One would expect at least some men to observe a connection between their beliefs, “We are mindless walking pen**es,” and “You don’t treat us with respect.”
