At 30 minutes, it’s Germany 5, Brazil 0.
Germany owns the pitch.

Germany is tough, especially with 6 or so starters that have been playing on the same club team for awhile.
Brazil is in flux, even before Silva’s and Neymar’s absence. Brazil does not look like the same team from last years Confederation Cup. They have been “flat” since the start of the WC finals.

If Brazil comes back from this early debacle it will be the biggest World Cup upset since the USA beat England 1-0 some 64 years ago....

In qualifying rounds this year Germany led 4:0 against Sweden until 62nd minute. The game ended 4:4 so these things happen.

Hey, they’re a poor country. Half their players can’t even afford a second name.

Fred Neymar’s injury has crippled Brazil’s team and broken its spirit.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Germany scored again 6-0.
If this result holds, host country Brazil will not be in the final Sunday.
Germany has played brilliantly today and is well on the way to shattering the rule a European team can’t win in South America.
I will root for them on Sunday! A new World Champion!
