He should have put his thoughts into a question type form instead of declaratively stating that such and such is absolutely true. When it comes to “race” stating such as the absolute truth always gets you in trouble. A few months ago I was waiting on line in a bagel shop and this black guy was at the front. He got a bagel and a coffee and when he tasted the coffee he got mad and said he “axed for sugar”...I thought he was going to throw the coffee. Then incredibly, or maybe no so incredibly, he accused the counter guy of being racist! LOL! I started cracking up and he glared at me, he was freakin’ serious! What a jackass, the guy forgets to give him sugar yes because he is racist. Yes, I can just see the KKK holding secret meetings in a basement “Hey boys, today we’re gonna git those dayum dirty neegrows by taking their SUGAR from their coffee! Yeah, that’ll show ‘em!!” LOL!

As a long time O and A listener there is much more to the story than is being reported. The fact is that Anthony has said just as politically incorrect things, if not more so, on the air on just about a daily basis with never so much as slap on the wrist by Sirius in the last 10 years they have been with the company. The difference this time is that their contract expires in October and they have been very vocal lately about how Sirius management has been controlling more and more what they can say or do. They have also been very publicly mulling leaving Sirius and moving to a full time pod cast format so they could have full control over their show. It appears to me that Sirius saw the writing on the wall and decided to pull a “first strike” hoping to tar them with the “racist” brush before they became a competitor, basically saying “you can't quit, because you're fired!”

You know he’s not racist in the least, matter of fact he did this expose a few years ago to show how cab drivers will not pick up blacks. He had a black guy stand in the street and raise his hand and Cumia stood behind him around 10 feet away and raised his hand, only he was dressed up as a Nazi as well. He called it “Heiling a cab” and almost every time the taxi would drive by the black guy and stop for Cumia. Picking up the Nazi was more appropriate to them than picking up the black guy.
