Wow! An entire reply of ad hominem attacks. Typical. You certainly did not indicate anything was physically wrong about removing the disk that would have ALSO required a tech’s intervention on any other platform. YOU implied it was purely a failing of Apple’s choice to not include a physical eject button, not an actual hardware failure. Then you attack me for providing the multiple alternatives Apple provides to eject a non-cooperative disk. Sheesh! The only “condescending” one on here is YOU, Lx. You are the one throwing smarmy, insulting comments about those of us who choose to use Apple products and those products, yet you base your complete experience on myth, outdated information, and abysmal ignorance. Your mind IS closed.
I would expect a genius to figure out that the normal floppy tricks didn't work but I guess your not a genius and when did I include an ad hominid attack? Tthe fact that you would recommend an Apple product? You can be counted on to boost Apple products no matter the subject, such a fan boy; do you have a Google alert when your name comes up when an Apple comes up. What a maroon.
Second, I love how the Mac bully becomes all whinny when his precious device is questioned.
Passive aggressive and whiny. Al least you can now attempt to use ad hominem.
Aaaand, I counted your posts (before this thread, date 3-6 to 4-29 and out of 346 posts, 166 of yours were about the love of your life, your Mac.
But you're just comparing the two, get outta here, you love your MAC more than you love your domestic partner, that is if you have one. Ever have a friend (in your case not likely) that constantly harps on some subject and won't ever shut up about it, that person is you.
