Nome is used to rowdy residents, but some relatively new transplants are making a real nuisance of themselves -- although unlike the colorful characters of the early 20th century gold rush days, these visitors have four legs, not two.
Musk oxen are wandering into the city on the Seward Peninsula, and despite loud noises, water hoses and even a blow-up bear coated in ursine urine, they don't want to leave.

Have you been beachcombing in Cornwall lately? If so, how's your Lego collection coming along?

Why do people equat maturity and lack of creativity on what is mature?
Maturity is planning so everyone suspects you but no one can prove it.

And on another note, Son #1 is now a Grandfather as of sometime Sunday.
Rumor has it that now makes me a Great Grandfather..
I'm checking the math on this because I am led to believe that I am only 34 years old. I have a superexpressmessage via Facepagething to my baby Sister to verify that she is still 29..
If so, we will of necessity be required to apply the rules of common core math to this because that would make her a Great Aunt... (She does have a lot of silver in her hair for being so young though... ;-)
And as these things work out, it makes Son#2 a Granduncle and Beautiful Daughter a Grandaunt - or whatever the proper term is...

I know you have said you do music for the Spanish church.
Tonight I was wandering through EweToob checking out songs and then downloading the leadsheet from CCLI if I thought I could use it, and came across this. Since I have the song in my collection of leadsheets, I was more interested in how they handled the 'sub Español' part because often the translations come across sort of like a Puerto Rican friend says my Spanish sounds like - a gringo tourist with a book...
It seems like the Spanish was done by a person fluent in Spanish... And by the way, I like the words in Spanish too.
So for your utilization in whatever means, or just personal enjoyment, check this out. (If you need a leadsheet, I can 'find' one - but it will be in English.. ;-)
10 000 reasons (sub español)

“Great uncle” and “great aunt.” My husband is a great uncle, too.
The song is really nice. The Spanish text is perfectly coherent, although it doesn’t exactly translate the English. It would be interesting to hear it sung in Spanish.

It’s the wide-eyed, innocent look. Once you’ve mastered that, you can get away with anything.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAX CHICK!
I was so busy with my life I completely spaced it as being today, even though I have it written down. My bad.
