Musk ox invasion keeps Nome wildlife managers busy
Anchorage Daily News ^ | comJuly 2, 2014 | SEAN DOOGAN

Nome is used to rowdy residents, but some relatively new transplants are making a real nuisance of themselves -- although unlike the colorful characters of the early 20th century gold rush days, these visitors have four legs, not two.

Musk oxen are wandering into the city on the Seward Peninsula, and despite loud noises, water hoses and even a blow-up bear coated in ursine urine, they don't want to leave.

No. I wormed my way into my Sister's wifi and am on my laptop in the midst of iron triangles...

Weren't they the band that did this song?

Thanks Geron ... Want to condense (write) the night back about two nights ago (not IT but similar) and see if there are some other opinions. Your opinion confirmed my opinion but am going for three or more. Mine didn’t count.

Gets interesting when the foan does the “no signal” beep.

I must be going crazy. I’d swear while driving today; Heard a phone pickup beep. Asked Better Half if she heard it and she said, “Let me check my phone”

Probably lost signal or regained connection.
Android foans beep in response to both.
Mine is on vibrate, so it only beeps through the earpiece.
Signal bounces here like an angry kangaroo.
Or a jerboa on crank.

If there were any nearby vehicles, it is possible but unlikely that you might have heard somebody else foan having a crisis.

remember that little story I wrote about a country that had too many admirals?

A 2008 story said that the UK had more admirals than warships

Wasn't looking to disprove anything.

I didn't intend to suggest you were - just excusing my taking on faith, because of the source.

I rarely add salt to food, except a handful of things like French fries or eggs. I really notice it when it’s unexpected. DP had put “seasoning packages” in with the chicken.

I’m not concerned about sodium, but salt does cause water retention, especially when one isn’t used to it.
