Nome is used to rowdy residents, but some relatively new transplants are making a real nuisance of themselves -- although unlike the colorful characters of the early 20th century gold rush days, these visitors have four legs, not two.
Musk oxen are wandering into the city on the Seward Peninsula, and despite loud noises, water hoses and even a blow-up bear coated in ursine urine, they don't want to leave.

I’m so sluggish today. There is a lot I could be doing, but I may just hibernate.
Maybe I need to go take a nap.
Busdaddy is going to look at the niece’s dog, today, after work. Niece posted some pics on Facebook, and the dog looks like a real keeper. We shall see.

I didn’t get a nap. The phone kept giving me text message alerts, and now I’m up again. *sigh*
Lablady has sent me a half dozen pics of different things in Rome. And Busdaddy has been asking about the dog and the gun shop down the street.
There is no rest for the wicked and the good don’t need any. So I’ve been told.
