For LGBTQ couples who met that special someone over Pride weekend or who already have but just havent set the date Seattles tourism agency will be awarding four free wedding trips to LGBTQ couples in a sweepstakes that starts July 1.
Sponsored by Visit Seattle, the hosted trips include the opportunity to be married by Seattles first openly gay mayor, Ed Murray, along with air transportation provided by Alaska Airlines, a four-night stay at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, a wedding ceremony at Canlis restaurant, DJ and music, wedding photography, sparkling wine courtesy of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, beer from Hilliards Brewery & Taproom, and dessert from Trophy Cupcakes.
Uber Seattle will offer transportation to and from the ceremony, which will accommodate an unspecified number of guests.

Well, that was a quick trip from “we just want to be treated like everyone else” to special benefits just for gays and lesbians.

Isn’t this sexual discrimination?

If a federal judge just used "equal protection" to overturn the gay marriage ban in Kentucky, then where is the four free weddings for straight couples, too? Or, just four free weddings for any couples raffle?

If they’re one-way trips out of the country, I’m all for it.
To: massmike
Now wait a minute! That is blatantly discriminatory. When is a normal couple going to sue over the fee that they are forced to pay?

So the contest is limited to persons of a certain sexual persuasion? Engaged straight couple needs to sue if they’re denied
