Porcupine puppy

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center adopts a five-year-old porcupine that someone had been keeping as a pet. Because of his gentle nature and love for human contact, everyone treats the porcupine like a prickly puppy dog.

Hedgehog quills are quite sharp. I don’t know how they compare with porcupines as I have never petted one......................

Thanks....I watched the video again..what's really amazing is when it lies on it's back...presenting its belly...it's vulnerable part...to the lady..that shows how truly domesticated they are...
In the wild, the biggest predators or porcupines are stoats..they have learned to approach from the front, and bite the porcupine on the muzzle..
