Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will collect a $225,000 speaking fee from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in October, it emerged on Tuesday.
The massive expense was confirmed just weeks after the university formalized a 4 per cent tuition increase for each of the next four years. Rate hikes have nearly tripled tuition costs there since 2004.

Every University is loaded up to the gills with government money, either directly or through the giant pool of money the government throws into the student-aid kitty, allowing schools to jack up their prices and blot up the spill.
So the government is paying a lot of money to Hillary, who has never not been "the government" at some level.
Who are we to complain? It's the government's money - they confiscated it from us under threat of imprisonment, fair and square.

so not only are her speaking fees OBSCENE, but she’s still sucking huge sums of $$$ from the American taxpayers instead of going out and getting a job (or opening a hair salon) like normal Americans do

I remember back in 2001 when BJ went the extra mile and had to give one extra speech to cover Chelsea’s Stanford tuition for 4 yrs....
How about some income equality. What is the average wage of Americans? Well she should get that for her speech just in deference to her principals. Give her a generous 25 bucks.
