You don't have to post if you don't care.
Carmelo Anthony did the same for the New York Knicks two days ago.
Once Sterling is gone...the Clippers?
Someone was willing to pony up $2 BILLION for that team.
Why should I care? Just kidding.
Please don’t let him come to OKC!
My guess is Wade and Bosh will also opt out, and the Big Three will restructure their contracts to stay in Miami and bring another star player and some decent backups. I really don’t see LBJ leaving Miami.
There’s no “LeBron” in “Team”
LaYawn.
Steve Ballmer is very happy.
I think James will sign a new, lower salary contract like what Tim Duncan did in San Antonio in order to open up salary cap space to bring in younger, experienced players to bolster the Miami Heat bench.
I think he’ll re-sign with Miami, go to one of the L.A. teams, or go to NY. He’s a big fish and I think he wants to be in a big pond. I don’t think Cleveland or Houston are big enough for him. JMHO.
If I were a big name athlete who could write my own ticket, I’d sign with a club that doesn’t have any winters......
I care, sort of. While I do enjoy watching pro sports, the NBA ranks well down the list below the NFL, MLB and NHL. With age and questionable maturity, you just have to accept these guys for who they really are.
Mercenary gladiators. Nothing more. They are not role models. With few exceptions, they are not “nice guys.” (Even in the 1930s Leo Durocher said “nice guys finish last.”)
But if you accept that they are simply paid to put on an athletic competition where the attraction is in the uncertainty of outcome, then take it for what it is.
Coming back to Cleveland. Kids enrolled in Akron schools.
Maybe.
Meanwhile, Tim Duncan, fresh off his fifth title in sixteen years, resigned with the Spurs at his below-market salary. Tim Duncan’s Spurs have the highest 17-year winning percentage in the history of the NBA, averaging 58 wins a year.
It’s a good story, I’ve had sports radio on for the last few hours. I wish King James the best in Cleveland.
