So Far, excellent, had NO problems installing (less than 15 minutes).. another 5, or so to install updates (and never had to reboot!)..
This is the forst KDE version I installed (Live, of course) that gave me no problems with partitioning.. was able to set up: Boot Root Swap USR/LOG Opt CAR Var/log tmp and Home, with no LiveBoot Crashes..
abother hour to set things the way I like to set them (and uninstalling stuff I don't need.. replacing them too)..
All said... less than 2 1/2 hours to get my PC back to normal (compared to 2 weeks and many reboot on Win :p)..
I am starting to understand why many go to Cinnamon though.. simple stuff.. but I am very picky about what I am working with, and KDE gives that flexibility to me.

Geron, btw... found a PERFECT music player.. called Qmmp.. is a WinAmp clone (can ever use WinAmp skins).. skip the Pulse audio and saves us from listening to the music skips ;^)

Have you tried it yet? It is great :D .. the default layout is simple, but you can find one (skin) that suites you.. (I hate Amerok)..
Also uninstalled Kaffine and Dragonplay..

I like Mint, but for me there’s been problems with a few releases. I’ve shifted over to Debian Testing (Jessie) for my linux machine, and I’m a little happier. YMMV, of course.
