You mean time? The ref keeps official time. He stops the clock when the ball goes out of bounds, etc. So the +5 means five minutes of “stoppage time.” 2 minutes left!

AAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!
Equalizer goal by Portugal.
US got a bit too overconfident and let it get away.

(And now, let the wild rumpus start!!)
The last play of the game! I've never seen that before.
Oh well, we're still in pretty good shape. Our guys played well.

He played such a good game, then became the goat.
To: fatima
Overtime? Only when it gets to the elimination group of 16. We're still in divisional play.

there were 3 US players near the goal and they let the Portuguese guy get behind them. Too busy watching the game and not focusing.

He played like crap towards the end. Almost everytime the ball was passed to him he lost it.

Germany and USA draw, I guess both are through. Certainly would not want to see teams do that intentionally.
Group G
Germany 4 points
USA 4 points
Ghana 1 point
Portugal 1 point

Noooooo!
We still have a good chance to advance, but a win would have clinched it.
Thursday we will know what our chances are right before the game against Germany. If Portugal and Ghana play to a draw, then we will advance regardless of the outcome of our game.
If Portugal or Ghana win, then they will be tied with us and probably be ahead on goal differential. (Since we only have a 1 Goal advantage).
If that’s the case, then we need to at least pull a draw against Germany to advance.
So our best option, honestly, is to see a draw in the first game.

That says more about Portugal than Germany.
