Well, I'm about to capitulate and go back to the Catholic Church. Maybe God will give me guidance.

I have some issues about the church which are different from the ones cited in the article but matter to me. It makes me wonder why a whole lot of people a lot smarter than me don't seem to be bothered about any of it.

I can't advise you what to do. Pray about it. I can't fault you about the music. I love the liturgy and music in the Catholic church. And there are lots of nice people - in almost all churches.

The Catholic Church is looking more every day like the home of Martin Luther's Mighty Fortress.

A human institution, whose priests are often no saints (then again whose are), it nevertheless has stood up to a millenium of assault, calumny and hostility from the world, withstood wars, dictators, schism and jihad.

I notice that when intellectuals, writers and other learned men seek out the faith, they go to the mother church-- never to splinter sects.
