Just the latest in John Legere's history of madcap soundbites
T-Mobile CEO John Legere is hardly known for speaking delicately, but his most recent outburst, at a Wednesday press event, might take the proverbial profanity cake.
Business Insider reports that Legere had harsh words for competitors AT&T and Verizon. These high and mighty duopolists that are raping you for every penny you have, he said. The fers hate you.

At least they’re not insulting my intelligence.
Uhh... what... what is that?
I don’t think even Laz would hit that.
T-Mobile has the worst service. Paying anything for that lousy service is getting raped.
Er, not if you’re a stockholder. Every quarter, the money formerly belonging to their customers is deposited in my brokerage account.
Add to that list DirecTV
That is something not all that common these days in the communication industry-a competitor.
He’s just mad cause he’s not the one doing the raping.
I will keep Verizon thank you. I have had Verizon for 3 years for everything including cell, phone, cable and internet and I don’t have a single complaint. I BRIEFLY thought of changing to Comcast but then the minute the thought crossed my mind, I suddenly heard numerous complaints everywhere. Forget it...no company is perfect so I will just stay with Verizon.
(2G here sucks)
Depends on where you are. I'm posting at home using my T-Mobile hotspot with 4G LTE. Overall less coverage.
Now. Now. No Laz jokes while he's in a coma.
I would recommend it to my clients when they complained about their service (with the above caveat, of course).
I’ve been very happy with AT&T in my area. A few newer steel/concrete multi-story buildings in my area have poor coverage inside. However, in the past it was mostly single story steel or wood frame buildings.
Add to that list Congress.
I use Verizon’s network through a MVNO.
My service is under $30/month. Real Verizon are paying close to $80/month for the same product.
Raping? depends on how you look at it, I guess.
That is one crazy kat
I have never used t mobile but verizon was the worst experience I have ever had. I had the unlimited plan back a few years ago when I received a bill for 700 dollars one month. They charged me for thousands of texts. When I complained they said they would take care of it..the next month I received an even lqrger bill with a late charge on top. I complained they said they would fix it..the next month it didnt change and they disconnected my phone. I go in cuss them out and tell them to close my account..they send me a bill for 2000 dollars..I have refused to pay them unless they meet me in court. They havent yet.
I use prepaid. If I don’t like the service, I cancel it.
People are foolish when they sign up for a 2 year contract with any cell provider.
