Yes, when it became clear that the choice in 2012 was between a RINO who would damage the country and a Marxist who would destroy the country, it was OK to support RINO Romney and people stopped getting banned.
After he won the nomination your man came out for abortion again, and against the GOP pro-life platform AND CLAIMED THAT HE HAD OPENLY CAMPAIGNED ON THOSE POSITIONS and reaffirmed his gay Boy Scout leader position, and he ran pro-choice ads in Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and managed to lose an election that he couldn’t lose, against Carter’s second term.
I think they were reviving Laz and flicked the switch on you instead. You will probly be banned again when they bring Laz back, so dont get used to it.

Thinly veiled? I’ve been a Romney supporter in 2008 and now.
I’ve been a Freeper since 2000. If my extensive posting history isn’t conservative, that’s news to me. I don’t agree that Romney is a RINO, and I think he is by far the most likely candidate to defeat Obama.
I haven’t been touting Romney at FR, but I have been carping about the heavy-handed censorship. I don’t think that a conservative forum with ‘Free’ in its title should be proscribing discussion of GOP candidates, especially as to the judgement of whether a candidate is conservative.
I am not going to take orders from anyone as to which candidate I support. If that gets me banned, so be it.

It's all water under the bridge, and sometimes that water carries floating corpses. The festering wretch currently soiling the chair in the Oval Office created his share of them, and the hideous, bloated, undead scarecrow who ran against him and now wants her own shot at screwing the country into the ground created her share as well. She's baaaaack, oh dear God, she's baaaaack, and she thinks of politics as a blood sport because for her it is. My only regret is that it also didn't include a wooden stake and a mallet.
