Texas is taking Chipolte to task as they apparently are planning to import beef from Australia while Texas ranchers are really struggling to stay afloat. Just don’t understand why they would import beef.
They import beef and other meats from mexico, central america, asia, and australia, because it is cheaper than buying domestic livestock.
You got that right!
Maybe it’s way past time we started charging an import tariff.
This is kind of a mixed bag with Chipolte. They did kick out the Madd Mothers against Guns out of one of their restaurants not long ago. But apparently Todd Staples is making a lot of noise about their importation of beef from Australia, at least for their restaurants in Texas. I just wish one of them - any one of them would make some noise about all the illegals coming across the border and all the crap we import from Mexico.
In n Out is a lot better than McD, Burger King, Jack Box and Wendy’s. It’s not anything like a gourmet burger, tho.
I agree with your post and crave them from afar.
