“This comes as it was reported that Bowe Bergdahl is still refusing to speak to his family,”

Now that is odd. Why wouldn’t he want to talk to his family?

Considering that this loser father advised the traitor to OBEY YOUR CONSCIENCE just before the sissy deserted, it's possible that in five years of misery the son has had time to realize just how stupid that advice was under the conditions in which it was given. I wouldn't want to talk to a liberal who cares more about America's enemies than about his country either.

This is a ruse by the government.. If Bowe can't talk, he can't say anything stupid, right? The gubmint is controlling the narrative. They are painting Bowe as a tortured man and not letting him say anything so as to avoid bad press.

According to whom? I don’t believe anything coming from anything that smells like a government source. As far as I know they’re keeping him incommunicado from everyone until he’s been programmed better than healthcare.gov.

Doesn’t torture do a lot of damage psychologically, especially in the area of emotions, since throughout the imprisonment a POW has to suppress his normal response to torture in order to maintain his sanity. Wasn’t this also a problem with Vietnam and Korean POW’s?

I suspect it’s a scam to give the appearance of a breakdown of family relationship, and/or, to maybe give the sham appearance of mental illness on the deserter’s part. Am I overly suspicious?
