Simply one of their best. I like it more than even the Parrot sketch.

The gov’t doesn’t care about facts. This is probably crony politics.

“But don’t despair, cheese lovers. Monsanto-Halliburton Cheese Corporation products never touch wood.”

“I thought cheeseboarding was some new form of interrogation”

It is! You hang ‘em upside down, and spray Cheez Whiz up their nose.

You are correct. I warn everyone that constantly cleaning their kid’s hands with anti-biotic wipes is not a good idea.

Actually, rBGH has never been proven to increase net production. It has been proven to increase mastitis and reduce the overall productive lifespan of cows.

The cost of milk is not the result of Luddites, but over-regulation by agencies without oversight and government market intervention.
Conservatives are generally opposed to both of the latter.

[ But here is the creepy part: When the FDA targets a small family dairy (I’m talking a cow or two), they will watch and wait until the husband is gone, or even both husband and wife, leaving teenagers there, and then come in, identify themselves and start asking a lot of intimidating or, conversely, seemingly harmless questions. And if they get the answers they want, charges are filed. ]

The FDA has become the defacto enforcement arm of the Big Food and Big Drug monopolies who keep their monopoly on power by claiming they do everything for the “public good”...

Sounds like Big Government doesn’t work out very well for the little/medium sized guy.

if there were no ‘food safety crisis’ there’d be little need for the food nazis... or the taxes that support their little empires

same with police and crime. they let them out early so crime will increase... driving up the cries for more protection and the acceptance of higher taxes (to keep you safe, dontcha know)

This issue and others from the FDA are based on a valid concept of minimizing the danger to susceptible individuals. If one person can be kept from harm by the increase in regulation, then this is the proper use of government [Liberal Truism!]

A counter-argument is that many people believe that the ever increasing move to antiseptic lifestyles from birth on does real damage to the individual's immune system. Yet this is harder to prove and has no 'point of advocacy' group and is beneficial only to the population and society as a whole.

Which viewpoint is the correct one becomes the issue. For me, it becomes an issue of wanting less government and less regulation and accepting a minimal increase in risk.

Free the boarded cheese!

There is no science behind the decision to outlaw the wood, only speculation. This is not the same as the raw milk problem.

The powers that be once disdained wooden cutting boards based on this same argument of speculation they weren't clean. A scientific study showed it was a false premise, in fact wood had certain inherent antimicrobial qualities.

Actually you are wrong on both counts in your first paragraph.

You are both right and wrong in the second. It is government over regulations which are pushed by the Luddites. Most regulations come from some bunch of city dwelling dumbos pushing some badly done research.

"Can you prove that your feeding the cow clover will never cause harm to anyone or anything ever? No?"

And the next thing you know there is a regulation against feeding cows clover.

I would have preferred us cheeseboarding them than waterboarding them. It would be less likely that Obama would be able to return the terrorists.

Probably also depends onthe wood itself, I am sure some wood types are more anti microbal than others.

If you outlaw wood board aged cheese, only outlaws will have wood board aged cheese. Pretty soon we will all be outlaws and the law will search us out. Kids will be told to turn their cheese eating parents into the cops. Cheese heads will not just be Packers Fans anymore but hippies, passing around the cheddar. This whole thin stinks like Limburger on a braunschweiger sandwich.

I absolutely LOATHE the whole PSA industry adfs that interrupt my iheart stream of Mark Levin every day, sammy and g-d damned sliders, the buzzed driver and buckle your seat belt PSAs all annoy me to a state of mild rage.

The government should never ever have to advertise common sense, ever if it has it has failed abnd society has failed.

The liberals demand we teach suvival of the fitest in the classroom and yet they also insist we coddle the same idiot they failed to educate in the government run schools stuff that is common sense...

It annoys the crap out of me.

I do cook my meat, i do buckle my seatbelt, I don;t drive after drinking booze.

Why?

Because it is common sense, not because the governmenr crammed the info down my throat.

The enemy of the Amarican people is the two sided coin of big government and big business. It’s funny in a way. Liberals hate big business while conservatives hate big government. In reality they are two sides of the same coin and conserviatives and liberals are effectively played against each other. It’s why I very much see the republican and democrat parties as two sides of the same party constantly playing “good cop, bad cop” with us.

The enemy of big business/government is small business. And they are doing all they can to erradicate it.

I was a very sick child. I had a truckload of allergies, plus asthma. Was I kept in a hermetically sealed room? Hell no! I was given an epi-pen and an inhaler and told to go play in God’s back 40. Because of that the only thing I still have a problem with is asthma, and that’s not very bad since I moved to the country. let kids get dirty and explore, that’s the only way they’ll build a halfway decent immune system.
