Not politics but I thought this girls voice was incredible. They don't seem to be pushing any liberal agenda like homosexuality, prostitution, gangs or drugs so I guess they'll never get a record deal, but still they are very good.

Three years ago, I visited the bar Garota de Ipanema in Ipanema where the song was written with my two daughters. We went across the street to
Vinicius Piano Bar where they play great live Brazilian Bossa Nova Jazz. It wasn't my girls' cup of tea, but it was quite enjoyable and great fun to see the place. I liked the song a lot when Astrud Gilberto recorded it and I was only 13 at the time. That was such a rich era for music!

Very talented kids. I hope they will write some of their own music in time. I watched several of their videos and they have a lot of talent and ability.
Please pass my request to them to record, “Jolene” Dolly Parton’s hit. Miley Cyrus did a fair job of it (before she went off the rails). Ask them to slow it down and let Miss Larkin use her voice to really plea the lyrics.
