The Girl From Ipanema
Also known as Garota de Ipanema. Josh Turner and Larkin Dodgen attempt the Tom Jobim classic that made Bossa Nova popular and launched Astrud Gilberto's singing career. Forgive my Portuguese. Guitar is a Gitane D-500; mics are a pair of Audio Technica AT2050's, camera is a Kodak Playsport. Thanks to Carson McKee (channel: drakeelliot) for helping with the recording. Please feel free to leave thoughts and suggestions!

Not politics but I thought this girls voice was incredible. They don't seem to be pushing any liberal agenda like homosexuality, prostitution, gangs or drugs so I guess they'll never get a record deal, but still they are very good.

And they seem so young, like they are in their mid teens and already they have such massive talent. The girl Larkin Dodgen her voice is incredible, just this perfect voice for jazz. Here’s another video of her...

Beautiful. I am having problems with Google cookies, so I can’t sign in to comment there, too. Her voice is wonderful!
