Edge of Tomorrow isn't expected to be the box office smash its $178 million budget suggests Warner Bros. hoped it would be, but at least audiences can expect one of the best big-budget movies in theaters this summer.
Critics love Tom Cruise's latest action film, which blends science fiction elements with a premise borrowed from classic Bill Murray comedy Groundhog Day. Like Murray, Cruise plays a man who is forced to Live. Die. Repeat for what must feel like an eternity, except instead of picking up women and causing trouble in a sleepy Pennsylvania town most famous for a rodent, Cruise must team up with a female war hero (Emily Blunt) to figure out how to stop an alien race from wiping out humanity.

Looks like a good movie.
I’d hold off on celebrating. :-|
DJ, welcome back! I’m looking forward to the memorable postings!
Yes, welcome back, Reb.
Here’s another video, with DJ as ‘Budd’ and the powers that be as ‘Larry’
Learn your place boy.
There’s a couple PG-13 words in the video, so the “Flat Earthers” have been warned. They can go wait for “Old Country Buffet” to open tomorrow.
Daily visits from your parole officer? :o
Was he gone ?
:)
At my age (+working full time) a week goes by pretty fast.,
“oink, oink “
:)
Right now I got on My Future Self n' Me(South Park)
I swear that program used to be the funnest program on TV.
I saw this episode first run back them and its still hilarious.
I’m afraid I can’t answer your FReepmails. Every post is moderated and I can only read (but not answer) mails. I was also “ordered” to “remove smut” from my FReeper page, but I cannot do that either as I’m prevented from modifying my page. How long this will continue, I have no idea.
South Park is excellent because it’s really a social commentary and an accurate one at that.
The movie seemed to be a cross of Groundhog Day, Battle of Los Angeles, Elysium, The Matrix, and Starship Troopers.
I remember I was in my early 20s when Phoebe Cates first appeared in movies in one in the desert Paradise (1982 film)) copying the Brook Shields movie The Blue Lagoon (1980)..
She was one beautiful babe, way better looking than Brook Shields was,
At Cruise’s age, he should be a full colonel.
All the episodes are online.

There are ad breaks though.
Perhaps it’s best days are behind it, but it’s STILL funny.
“...I was about 12 when my parents finally got color TV and cable TV was years away...”
It was about 1968 when we got our color TV - either a Motorola or Magnavox (I know it began with an “M”) Console TV - had a, AM/FM Stereo radio in one side, a 25 inch color CRT screen in the center, and a turntable “Hi-Fidelity” Stereo in the other side.
Saturday morning cartoons became alive at that point. And - you’ll laugh at this - I remember seeing black and white 1950s monster movies on it and being TOTALLY confused... “but this is a COLOR TV... why aren’t these in color???”
I was about 7 or 8 then.
My cell phone is state-of-the-art circa 2010 slide phone.
That’s all I need.
Welcome back, DJ...
Mine has apps so I can live stream music from Pandora and Shoutcast, and AOL radio,. I use those at the gym/fitness center.
Also gets me my yahoo email, and youtube (they all require their own apps and all those ones are free)
The waze GPS, nav and live road alerts app is the best. Glad I never bought a separate GPS.
“Welcome back”
Hmmm...Someone needs to make a public proclaimation regarding their return.
Until then, “field******dj” shall be referred to as “Toby”.
You listening Toby?
