They should have done this before the thirtieth one. Would have saved me a very awkward moment explaining those Web search results....

In light of recent politics, they might have been worried about the Roman numeral version of Super Bowl 54.

Because some genius in the NFL front office finally realized that young people today cannot READ Roman Numerals!

Now Common Core students will get it. Make sure the name is not in cursive.
To: C19fan
Maybe if conservatives wrote and begged the network to reallocate some of their monthly tithe from liberal programming destroying the country to the Superbowl, the NFL could afford to keep the Roman numbers....

Whew, glad they fixed that.
Now if they can do something about the pansy rules (taunting, excessive celebration, ball carrier can’t lower his head) and the re-education camps for having an opinion, I might have a better opinion of the game.

Cursive throws them so Roman numerals must just kill them.

I remember the first one. It was really hyped but for some reason was not even a sell-out. There were plenty of empty seats.
Bart Starr was MVP, and a receiver whose name I can’t even remember had a great day. He was not expected to see any playing time and partied almost the whole night before.

What?! They can’t ditch them before Super Bowl Large! We already had the Porn Bowl (XXX) and Extra Large. Now I am disappointing.

They don’t want to get to 59.
Frankly, I hope the NFL is a non-entity soon. The league has become a big festering consortium for liberal political engineering and propaganda.
Good riddance.

hope they dont using cursive . . .

So?
I ditched the Superbowl many years ago.
‘Just don’t have time anymore for watching men pour their hearts out over a mere game, while the country is no longer a viable entity, and there is no one in sight who pours their heart out over all the lost souls.
‘Just don’t have time for the pagan ritual.
‘Just don’t have time to entertain myself on the Lord’s Day with sensationalistic often heathen commercialism.
Bread and circus just doesn’t satisfy the soul.
