Let’s see. The US president announces the specific date when all US forces are leaving, outs the US spy chief in Kabul, releases 5 Taliban commanders, is shown beaming with the treasonous deserter’s father who immediately says an Islamic prayer...you really couldn’t make this stuff up. No one would believe a novel with a plot like this.

I wonder what his endgame is? Does Obama feel so confident now that he can just flaunt his hatred of the US and his wish for our destruction, or does he think he doesn’t have much time left to accomplish his goal and is merely speeding things up to make sure it’s done by 2016? Or even by this fall, just in case the Senate changes hands.

By now, he knows he can get away with it, and in fact can get away with anything, so he really has nothing to lose by just throwing off all pretense and showing where his true loyalties lie.
