DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. After making its way through a Daytona Beach neighborhood Thursday, a black bear took a moment to rest before ambling back into the woods.
Resident Rafael Torres told Channel 9 that he followed the bear through his neighborhood until it clambered into a hammock behind a home on Glenbriar Circle.

Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?
Time for a bear season. Florida black bear have been attacking people, a sure sign they don’t fear man.
The twits in the FloriDUH Game Commission do not realize they can not create a safe bear, panther, python, ad nauseam. This is Florida, not the Garden of Eden, and large bodied predators will not lie down in peace with people.
PS Rumor has it that the Garden of Eden, and its ‘peaceful predators’ was created by more than a mere bureaucrat.
He thought if Goldilocks can sleep in his bed, he can sleep in that hammock.
There... now he's a true Floridian!
Now I’m no expert, but that one DOES look photoshopped.
Perish the thought! Everyone knows bears love fruity drinks :)
Beary funny
Interesting wild life, but another headline on the source page caught the eye...40 graves found under a golf course. Did the o frequent this course and will this figure be added to those prior?
Poltergeist V The Country Club
Not even a real good Photoshop........
“Perish the thought! Everyone knows bears love fruity drinks :)”
And Hawaiian shirts.
“I got an EBT card and suddenly this neato hammock appeared.”
no just the bear
That's for sure. I had one rampage through my mom's back yard and tear down the fence in three places. Going in, going out, going in and out again. Trashed a five foot chain link fence. Everybody in the neighborhood has to secure trash cans and they still wander through the area on a regular basis. The population needs thinned.
bkmk
Just need to train them to only eat the right people!
Waiting for a shovel-ready job.
“no just the bear”
The bear in all the photos?
