RAW VIDEO: Mother of toddler injured by stun grenade speaks out
Right now I’m more concerned about government and law enforcement than legalizing meth.
I would rather fix the police problem rather than ignore it, and just make the drug pushers and labs safe, while policing remains the same.
The boneheaded sheriff: http://www.wsbtv.com/videos/news/raw-video-mother-of-toddler-injured-by-stun/vCcXWC/
The Police really aren’t very different from the Muslims. None of them speak out against outrages committed by their brothers. But we’re supposed to believe that most of them are good.

In this video, sheriff says there’s no need for an investigation. He called the GBI and DA and described the situation..and, by gum, they agreed that the cops did everything right.
Here here. Rehab should be available to all, paid for by the gov. I am a small gov person, but I can tell you it would be far cheaper in the short and long run to do that than chase every baggie of dope.
Yet the parents say there were kids car seats clearly visible in the van out front. Yet the man they were looking for was not at the house, and one would think they would have somebody watching the house while waiting for the warrant, to see if anybody arrived or left.
My personal suspicion: the cops did not actually do the preliminaries they said they did in order to get the no-knock warrant. In which case the cops should be criminally charged.

What disturbs me the most with all these stories is they go back to LEO not doing due diligence, plain old fashioned investigation- even cursory before launching all out SWAT assaults. No due diligence is the reason they attack the wrong house, wrong people, go after people that have not been at that address for some time- on an on. Epic fail, and it is not being addressed so it keeps happening.
I think LEO having military type units is bogus, it is obvious they have given up the old fashioned investigation, police work in favor of “shoot first and ask questions” later style. They are not willing or able to get proper training and use their SWAT units only when necessary and after investigation so they do not need and should not have them.
But, hey, at least all the cops went home safe.
That is the most important thing...just ask them.
Well at least they got the right house this time.
Then tht Sheriff needs to have an explosive device or two tossed into his house, preferably while occupied by his kids and grand kids.
Eliminate “qualified” and “limited” immunity, you stop this in its tracks. A couple of sentences for kidnapping, breaking and entering, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to murder, battery and perjury would go a long ways towards helping people concentrate their thinking before acting.
And, legalizing drugs would do even more.
That’s my feeling too.
“And, legalizing drugs would do even more.”
Having personally known people ruined by drugs, I hope they never get legalized. And anyone who thinks it is a victimless crime is wrong. Drug addicts will do anything for a fix. You can bet for every crime they get convicted of, there were other crimes that they were never charged with or the charges were dropped to the lesser crime of drug possession so that a deal could be made.
I think it's a trade-off. By making drugs illegal, you reduce the number of people who take them. People still take them, even though it's illegal.
The down side is you have thousands of people killing each other every year in drug-gang violence, and the violence extends to innocents, like kids caught in the crossfire.
Alcohol addiction ruins many lives too. We tried making alcohol an illegal drug back in the 1920's, and we had similar phenomena, with gangs of bootleggers killing each other.
Then we said "screw it", and re-legalized alcohol, and you never seem to see a Budweiser driver having a shootout with a Coors distributor.
There was a time when cocaine and opium could be legally purchased, prior to the Harrison Narcotics Act of 1914. The US survived up to that point.
Swat teams have existed for decades. They have killed people and pets for years.
They aren’t an Obama-problem.
