Sorry, but cynicism is also a product of learning that there are a lot of idiots out there.
Most of them either work in the gubmit, voted for the Obamadork...or both.
And, after all, if one is not cynical about liberalism, one has much more serious cognitive problems.
Classic Christian doctrine tells us we have something far more complex at hand. A fallen humanity, of which any individual soul can be saved if it chooses to accept the salvation, but even if it is, it won’t be perfect in this mortal coil.
Oversimplifications simply fail (I hope that is not an oxymoron).
