British women are officially the fattest in Europe. Well, hoorah for us. Of all the labels we could have picked up the drunkest, the laziest, the most promiscuous this one can't be that bad, can it?
And what about those people who actually choose to be fat? A growing group of overweight activists claim it's OK and healthy to be overweight. Fat activism, as they call it yes that's a thing now is about recognising that all bodies are fine. Nowadays, the 'fat movement' is all about challenging prejudices.
Except, we should be worried. Accepting obesity is just as bad, in my book, as accepting 'skinny'. Both are more often than not unhealthy. Both conditions also often lead to the people concerned being unhappy

I think their economy has been so bad for so long that most families do not eat right in England...it is expensive to buy meat in England....so much is imported. Growing vegetables..where? Not a lot of available land there anymore. The same is becoming so here for the average family... even with all the ranches, chicken farms, and pig farms.

Americans don't fully grasp just how pretentious that came across to your average English audience. If anything, they're Francophobe, refusing to pronounce French words as the French do. Valet and claret are pronounced VAL-et and CLAR-et just to annoy the Frogs, lol.
