Competitive eater Molly Schuyler completed the stunt Monday at the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo Tex that broke the eaterys record. She then ate a second steak in nine minutes and 59 seconds.
AMARILLO, Texas A competitive eater from Nebraska has devoured a 72-ounce steak at the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo to set a new record.
The Amarillo Globe-News and the restaurant's Twitter page say Molly Schuyler on Monday downed the 4 ½-pound slab of beef in 4:58.
She apparently wasn't full so she ate a second one, taking a more pedestrian 9:59 to finish it.
The restaurant invites anyone to a free meal if they eat not just the 72-ounce steak, but also a baked potato, shrimp, a salad and bread roll in less than an hour.

“She’s, she’s not a person. She’s like a building with feet.”
I think so, also the satanic symbol on her hoodie probably isn’t winning her points either.
Real keeper there.
Little known fact:
All this took place while her husband was in the bathroom.
It’s an anarchy symbol, part of a band logo and I’m sure her husband and kids think she’s a keeper.
We had lunch at this restaurant once. IIRC, the all time record for eating the 72 oz steak is 18 seconds held by a Bengal tiger. They have it posted in the restaurant.
In high school in the 90s I saw that a lot, and my church described it as a satanic symbol.
I don’t have time this morning to google it, I need to get out the door, but I refuse to set examples like this for my kids.
Soon we’ll see Zero penning an executive order, with Moochelle breathing down his neck, outlawing these contests.
Repulsive. This is entertainment?
She's so fat, when she goes to the zoo, the elephants throw her peanuts.
“My wallet would jump out of my pocket and run for the door.”
FIFTY CENTS
I took my girl to a ball last night, ‘twas such a fancy hop
We stayed until the folks went home, the music it did stop.
Then to a restaurant we went, the finest on the street
She said she wasn’t hungry, but this is what she’d eat:
A dozen raw, a plate of slaw, some fancy Boston roast,
Some turtle stew, crackers, too, some soft-shelled crab on toast?
Next she tried some oysters fried; her appetite was immense!
She asked for pie! I thought I’d die, for I had but fifty cents!
After eating all of this she smiled so very sweet,
She said she’wasn’t hungry at all, she wished that she could eat;
But the very next order that she gave, my heart within me sank.
She said she wasn’t thirsty at all, but this is what she drank:
A brandy, a gin, a big hot rum, a schooner of lager beer,
Some whiskey skins and two more gins did quickly disappear;
A bottle of ale, a soda cocktail, she astonished all the gents!
She called for more, I fell on the floor, for I had but fifty cents.
To finish up, this delicate girl cleaned out an ice cream can?
She says, “Now, Sam, I’ll tell mama you’re such a nice young man.”
She said she’d bring her sister along next time she came, for fun.
I handed the man my fifty cents, and this is what he done:
He broke my nose, he tore my clothes, he knocked me out of breath;
I took the prize for two black eyes, he kicked me most to death.
At every chance he made me dance, he fired me over the fence,
Take my advice: don’t try it twice, when you have but fifty cents.
Not the girl you want to take home to mama.
Nope, it is the symbology of anarchists, not the pentagram and is part of a band logo.
She competes in events that can also carry some large cash prizes. So what? Why are there so many self-righteous people who make snap judgements about this woman when they don’t know anything about her. Those types of instant “opinions” are better left to democrats and muslims who have perfected the art of condemming people who don’t conform to their norms. Oh yeah, she has some tattoos, so what again. I have tattoos and I was a Marine NCO and an Air Force officer now retired (supposedly officers don’t have tattoos) and my wife of 42 years has several tattoos. Anyone who calls her a tramp will either apologize immediately or acquire a knockout punch from me.
None of us is required to set examples like this for our kids, nobody is forced. There is nothing evil or satanic about this woman. She is married, has four kids and works as a waitress in a local restaurant where I have seen her. Nice lady. Her husband is active duty Air Force.
Repulsive? Then don’t view or read any of it. Your choice and opinion, just like it is her choice.
She’s so fat that when she camps in the woods, the bears hide THEIR food!
Either you are for God or against.
It’s not a pentagram, doesn’t mean it’s not a symbol of the father of lies.
I’m also not condemning her, but that behavior would be considered a stumbling block for some, and we’re to abstain for something that may cause a brother (or sister) to stumble.
I never said she was a tramp, however, I wouldn’t go around saying you’ll knockout punch folks, when you don’t know who you’d be required to do that to.
I know not everyone is saved, and perhaps I’m drawing shorter lines in the sand, but in these days and times, the battle lines have to be drawn that way.
Thanks for your service, I’m also a vet, we also have a common enemy and should be focusing our efforts in that direction.
And she still had room for dessert
Get a grip, I was talking about the postings in general and was talking about others who seem to see her as evil or otherwise not acceptable.
I don’t announce any knockout punch and I always know who I am up against. Don’t lecture me on that.
I’m sure that although I am a believer but do not subscribe to any denomination created by men and that I am not “saved” by your definition, you might believe I’m going to hell. You’re entitled to your opinions whatever they are. Not being “saved” by the definition of some denomination has no relevance to me.
As far as the battle lines to be drawn, the issue of this woman is a pimple on the ass of time when compared to the real enemies to the Constitution we face today. Thank you also for your service. I may be retired but I still hold to the oath I took to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. This woman and what she does does not fit that category and it is a topic not worthy of a battle line.
It’s not a satanic symbol. Your church lied to you. Which is kind of ironic when you think about it.
