Molly Schuyler, 34, reportedly weighs in at 120 pounds. However, on Monday, the professional competitive eater may have added to that total after she consumed two steaks, each weighing 72 ounces.
Moreover, she accomplished this feat in under 15 minutes.

These “contests” are disgusting. The eating of food is to sustain us, comfort us. When you make a contest out of who can stuff the most food in their stomachs, it’s shameful. Think of all the people in this country who would love to sit down to a meal of steak in their home..just one meal, and who would be so grateful for the luxury of doing so, but cannot afford it. It’s a display of gluttony and it’s nauseating.
Food and circuses..that’s what the public likes. I’ll pass.
(To that jerk on Food Network who stuffs his face with food in contest after contest, you’re not funny or entertaining. Better find a new line of work b/4 you drop dead, which may be sooner than later..have you considered joining the circus in the same capacity?)
A veritable eating machine. Incredible. Competitive eating. Is this what we would normally call the entrepreneurial spirit?
LOL, an understatement of Biblical proportions sir. Kind of like saying the Obungler tells little white lies. Oh shoot, I hope white lies is not racist :-)
Competitive eating is as sinful as competitive whoring?
How the hell did you come up with that comparison? What does running compare to?
Have you seen the price of beef steaks these days? You're better off with a hooker.
How we think so much of ourselves that our own sins are "meaningless" when compared to others. Sin is sin is sin....the wages of ALL sin is death unless one accepts Christ as Lord and Savior. About the only sin that separates itself from the rest of the field is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
Yet we continue to act so pious/high/mighty by condemning others for that which we match in every way in God's eyes. The pharisees are alive an well in many of us.
amusingly phrased - nice job -
nail on the head correct
While I don’t understand the desire to eat competitively and engorge ones self, and I wouldn’t consider doing so myself, she looks very happy. I don’t begrudge her doing what she enjoys. I do have to admit some curiosity as to how the process of eating 72 ounces of comes out in the end. Perhaps they will do a follow-up report.
Just a little disgusting?
If she did this in New York City, former Mayor Bloomberg would have placed her under arrest.
Or we can just laugh about it and indulge.
I’m glad someone gets it.
People go a little alinear when the word sin pops up.
I know, but in God’s eyes, sin is sin. Praise God for sending his son and giving us the gift of salvation.
I find the more time that passes, the more lines I draw. What I probably would of shrugged off years ago, now I won’t give a pass to.
But if you point it out you are going to get blow back. People know fragments of exactly two Bible versus:
“Judge not”
and
“Oh yea? What about that log in YOUR eye?”
LOL!
Yes, I’ve seen that tossed about, and have had it tossed at me before. I don’t see pointing out facts as judging though.
He died from pneumonia, a lung problem. Had nothing to do with weight or competitive eating.
