As long as you're just doing entertainment, and not anything important like flying airplanes, attention to detail is optional.
Well, of course, it does; Segway is brand name for a type of one-person vehicle, so it is capitalized. I suppose the name is some sort of play on the actual word “segue”, which, I suspect, is the word you wanted to use in your sentence.
was John wrong when he talked about turning stones into children of Abraham?
John was not wrong. Jesus was never wrong. He was talking about the seed of Abraham that other passages show went through Isaac to Jacob. It did not pass to Ishmael or Esau. Why is it important ? The Islamic religion traces their line through Ishmael. They hold Abraham to be prophet, Ishmael his son to be a prophet, and Mohammed the descendant of Ishmael to be "the Prophet." Details, details.
so just write Abraham out of the story. Good thinking.
Just insist on the correct lineage; Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when one wants to designate a Jew
But here is the important thing- you and I both respect the Bible and that's great. From your handle I assume you are a Vet, so thank you, buddy. Have a good one.
That correct. Catherine Zeta Jones was stunning.
My wife is Portuguese, American Indian, and black (a very common mix where I am now). Other than the nagging, I think she is pretty well centered.
Jews are an ethnic group as well as a religion. Most ethnic Jews that I have known are non-religious, and ethnically distinct from slavs, Germans, etc.
Untrue
Jacob is one of three men singled out in the Bible as tam, although the KJV erroneously translates it as "plain" in his case only. Job, Noah, and Jacob were all accorded this honor. Jacob obeyed his mother, Rebekah to prevent his father Isaac from erroneously giving the birthright to Esau, who was rejected by God. Otherwise, no Messiah, and that could not happen.
you should go here- you’d have fun

Actually, if we’re going to get all technical, after Sarah died Abraham had six more sons with Keturah. And quite probably some daughters.
As far as I'm concerned, the present tense still applies.
The seed of Messiah was only passed to Isaac, and then to Jacob.
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
I will go with that as well....I dislike the quickness of people to label by ‘looks’ alone. NO one is that prescient
and that is the age he started therapy.... his broken home, father remarrying,l psychotropic drugs, ALL of these are major factors not every one else’s take on photos of a very well to do southern cali boy
I believe his broken family, his fathers remarriage with children, and any psychotropic drugs played a larger factor.
Are you a credentialed psychologist?
This mentally ill young man who came from a broken home (why dont more people talk about that?)
<><><><>
Maybe because the number of people from broken homes not doing this kind of act so far outnumbers those who do that folks recognize that it is statistically insignificant?
From his 'manifesto:'[emphasis added--and apologies if this has already been pointed out to you]
My Twisted World The Story of Elliot Rodger By Elliot Rodger Introduction
Humanity snip...
Part One A Blissful Beginning Age 0-5
On the morning of July 24th, 1991, in a London hospital, I was born. I breathed in the first breath of life as I entered this world, weighing only 5.4 pounds. My parents must have been filled with happiness and pride that day. They had just witnessed the birth of their first child, and they named me Elliot Oliver Robertson Rodger. I was born to young parents. My father, Peter Rodger, was only 26 when he impregnated my mother, Chin, who was 30. Peter is of British descent, hailing from the prestigious Rodger family; a family that was once part of the wealthy upper classes before they lost all of their fortune during the Great Depression. My fathers father, George Rodger, was a renowned photojournalist who had taken very famous photographs during the Second World War, though he failed to reacquire the familys lost fortune.
