Love Dylan. Not everything he does is gold, but when he DOES succeed, it is awesome.

Looking forward to his album of Sinatra covers.

Dylan is a truly great artist.

And it just goes to show -- if the Left likes you and thinks they can make some use out of you then -- SHAZAAM! -- you get branded as a Leftist hero. They claim you and benefit from you, whether you like it or not.

And if the Left hates someone or something, then that thing is (by definition) "right wing". The Stalinists did not like the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany, and -- voila! -- the Nazis became "right wing".

“The answer my friend is blowing in the wind....”

Politically Dylan was always anti-establishment.

Dylan was Tea Party before the Tea Party.

Dylan was the 20th century equivalent of a stoic philosopher.

Dylan has always been his own person. Take him or leave him, he doesn’t care if it fits your stereotype.

Mr G worked with him one time. He was not a fan of his before, but when Bob got on stage and started singing, Mr G said there was no mistaking that “aura” of greatness. He didn’t know what it was, just that there was a “magic” about his performance. And Mr. G is not easily impressed!

That said, he also worked with Bob’s son one time. He was a pain in the patootie.

I travel Highway 61 in Minnesota weekly and every time I’m on that road “Desolation Row” begins playing in my head. I guess you could say it’s become my theme song.

What has pisses the lefties off most is Dylan’s deeply pro Israel position.

Nobody owns Bob but Bob. He’s not a tool of the left or the right or the hawks or the doves or the feminists or the hippies or the straights or anybody else. He’s a genius, an American original and a timeless artist. Five hundred years from now, Dylan will be known and taught like Shakespeare is today.

What I get from this is not what it tells me about Dylan (I knew that he isn’t a lefty) but what it says about liberals. They lie. They lie about everything and they’ve been doing it for a very long time. They have to because nothing they stand for will withstand scrutiny.

The left loves to act like Dylan is “one of them” and his music somehow “proves it”. In an interview years ago Dylan said his motivation was “earning a living”.
