You do know that the intersection of “songs I like” and “songs you like” is very small.

like, maybe there’s one? ; )
music is not my raison d’etre, generally. i really really really like silence best of all. there are times i will play my ipod in the car, i like the drive time DJ in the AM, bc they are funny and interesting and makes the commute pass quickly. But in the house, i do not turn the TV on to have background noise, i do not turn music on.

I think some of the more poppy 80s music. And some alt/grunge.

Anybody else want to shoot the radio or streaming device when this overplayed bumper music comes on?

His voice is annoying. He should stick to instrumentals because he’s a decent guitarist.

I’m not much of an audiophile, but like art I know what I DON’T like – monotonous & insipid.

(When I clicked on the link to Soother’s oldie, the similar title raised the hackles ;)

Incorrect! I have always wanted a pool table - I had no interest in formal areas in our home and wanted to put a pool table in the dining room but there just wasn’t room...I’m still sad about it

xshub had a pool table in the basement of his parents house. his dad had to remove and then replace some of the foundation blocks to get it in there. It conveyed with the house, bc honestly there was no way to get it out of there. The house sold at auction, so it was AS IS, including with a permanent pool table as a fixture!

In the world of mythical tales
That some adults still inhabit
Any apparition is explained-
It’s a hippogriff-or a rabbit

That happens with the koolaid
That Obama has passed around-
That is why he is out golfing,
As his minions run us aground

In their daze they have no idea
What is standing in plain sight-
So they insist all is perfect
And their king is always right...

La oruga fumado hierba malo...

The hippogriff was thought to be carnivorous, but in reality it was hemivorous consuming mostly lettage and nutatoes.

Gah-that music-I feel like someone threw a bucket of Karo on me-how about some nice Alice in Chains “Man in the Box”, and crank that bass up...

Mikro’s was the one I was talking about, but yours was the one that least made me want to run screaming to find an AC/DC disc...

LOL, I’m usually lost in most discussions about music – in about any genre… Most song titles & lyrics too, but some stick with you like nails on a chalkboard. Didn’t mean to have anyone need to take a shower or ear-plugs ;)
