You do know that the intersection of “songs I like” and “songs you like” is very small.

music is not my raison d’etre, generally. i really really really like silence best of all. there are times i will play my ipod in the car, i like the drive time DJ in the AM, bc they are funny and interesting and makes the commute pass quickly. But in the house, i do not turn the TV on to have background noise, i do not turn music on.
