Can gay men claim it too?
(Just want to be clear on who all the recipients will be.)

Of course!
Who, in their right mind, wants to deal with them, then?
Think of the increases in efficiency.

If menstruation is medicalized and turned into a disease like pregnancy is, it is very easy for the feds or corporate health plans to mandate injectable contraceptives like DepoProvera that suppress menstruation OR require hysterectomies for the sake of equal productivity.

I work with a boss that has taken it upon herself to send staff email notifications of her absence most every month due to female cycle.

What a crock of bullchit. One minute females want 'equality', another minute they want special treatment because they're females. WHICH IS IT? How would this play out during wartime on the battlefield?
To: rickmichaels
how does having the day to do what ever you want simply because you have your period equal more EQUALITY?
EQUALITY TO WHAT??? that's simply hysterical

3 days off per month = 36 days - weekends = 33 days average so now females will have 1 month less working than males and will pay still be the same?
The wonderful world of privilege and non-responsibility!

Ha, call in saying I won’t be in today. My medicine caused me to swell up and cause stiffness.

Does this mean all the gals in the office will take off the same day?

You know we had some Indian women (yeah from like India), who use to take time off every month for that.
Being a woman, I think it was much better to pop the midol and keep going.

IF (Big if) women earn 75 percent less than men do, then how are they gonna like it when you knock off another 2 days worth of pay per month?
Menstrual Pay? What a stupid concept.

When my sister was menstruating she’d be in debilitating pain, soaked in sweat and basically in bed for three days. She was a major in the Air Force’s OSI. (The first woman in the OSI.) So, three days of each month she was out sick. And, I mean SICK. I don’t recall that she ever said it was a problem with her boss. Quite frequently, the doctors laughed at her, simply not believing the problem was real. Trust me. It was real.
