I just read by translation on Google two Italian online papers that are saying this story is a hoax from a hoax site that is similar to the Onion. http://www.vnews24.it/2014/02/07/giornale-del-corriere-o-corriere-del-mattino-il-bufalaio-del-web/ and http://www.vnews24.it/2014/05/01/bufala-no-bikini-spiaggia-mussulmani/ Use Google and the translate option is automatic, they even explain what the laws are that are mention and neither have anything to do with what this site is claiming, I also noticed that FrontPage Mag took the story down off their site, so I wonder if they came to the same conclusion.
Oops.
A hoax is not surprising, but my first thought was that the story said that the incident happened at a private resort. In which case ... one would want to know what the rules were, how guest privieges were granted, and what warnings were issued. Given the whopping size of the fines, I was expecting that some unreported aggravated misconduct was involved.
A hoax is a much simpler story.
