What do you call “winter lettuce”? Is there a certain kind?

Winter lettuce is cold tolerant lettuce that I sometimes plant outdoors in the late fall, and cover with a row cover, and harvest during a nice day in the winter.

There are names like winter density, artic king, miners lettuce etc. Bountiful Gardens has a list of more of these.
