From children working hard in the fields to a group of soldiers pushing a broken-down bus, these are the photographs that North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, didn't want you to see. Taken by photographer Eric Lafforgue during what would prove to be his final visit to the rogue state, the images reveal the shocking extent of the hunger, deprivation and oppression suffered by the people who live there. Lafforgue, who has now been banned from North Korea, took the pictures while in the company of state-approved guides and was asked to delete each of the images but managed to save them on his memory card.

Just wow! What I found most surprising is how some of his photo subjects could manage to crack grins.
I bet even these are tame for NK
Disrespected? How so? For calling Obama a “clown,” a “dirty fellow” and somebody who “does not even have the basic appearances of a human being.” Also a "crossbreed with unclear blood." and that Obama "still has the figure of monkey while the human race has evolved through millions of years," and that "it would be perfect for Obama to live with a group of monkeys in the world’s largest African natural zoo and lick the bread crumbs thrown by spectators."?
Thats being disrepectful? Huh. Well, I'll be. I thought that was outlining some of Obama's better qualities.
Did you see the comments at the site? Lol
They can’t talk about Obama like that.
Only WE can talk about Obama like that.
Yea lol.. which ones were you talking about?
I saw 3
Someone said it’s still better than Luton.
One guy says he is out of control and needs to be stopped. I was wondering if he meant the dictator or the photographer. Lol
I lol’d at a comment on another thread that said...
If Kim Jong Un is trying to get us angry and mad at his comments; well, it ain’t working.
LOL at the second line.
What’s Luton?
I use to see Koreans in South Korea picking plants all the time to eat in the late 70’s while stationed there. Mainly women or old men did this but a KATUSA showed me what plants they were picking. On Holidays I saw old people doing this with their grand children to teach them the plants to look for. Also bathing in rivers and irrigation canal was common as farming was hot sweaty dirty work and they finish cleaning up at home.

These photos taken in North Korea like those taken in Cuba show the utter failure of Communism.
Personally, I like the idea of kids DOING SOME WORK, rather than playing video games every day, as they do here.
...but, of course, there is a limit as to what is humane.
