There's a certain Je ne sais quoi about a guy holding a guitar.
Or so says a new study from France, which suggests that a man is perceived as more attractive to women if theres a guitar in his hands. The study's results are similar to the findings of a 2012 study from Israel.
France, Israel, Hoboken or Bumpass, Virginia it doesn't matter where the guitarist is from. The point is, male guitarists are generally viewed as promising mating material (as if we didn't all know that already)!

I can attest to it...
MANY years playing lead guitar in club bands.
MANY fights with girlfriends and then wife due to broads hanging all over me...
Yeah... I AM smiling right now... hehehe... Those were good days.
I don’t think I EVER paid for my own drinks back then.

When I was a pre-teen I played piano and ukulele and was not popular with the women folk. At 13 a cousin gave me an old guitar and my world changed drastically.
And shortly after that I was in a band and proved Gene Simmons' philosophy to be an absolute truth. Which is "Play in a band, you get to date the cheerleaders and the prom queens!" I married the head cheerleader who was also the prom queen!
And it was all due to the guitar!

How about walking barefoot?

Humans evolved to wear cowboy boots. Primates walk barefoot.

MANY years playing lead guitar in club bands. ... Yeah... I AM smiling right now... hehehe... Those were good days. What a blast that must have been! {^)
I used to like to go party with the local bands after the bars closed, in my wild and wanton yute in a small rowdy town. It's a wonder any of us survived. I can think of one tall guitar player, all the girls loved him (including my bar-hopping buddy). One night driving home his van ended up in a ditch, poor guy. He wasn't even a heavy drinker or druggie, just a nice kind of gentle guy. It was very sad. But on the whole .. most of us pulled through. A lot of 'em even became conservatives!!! {^)

Eddie is probably the posterboy for not aging gracefully. Still can tear it up though.
